A-LEAF

An Artificial Leaf: a photo-electro-catalytic cell from earth-abundant materials for sustainable solar production of CO2-based chemicals and fuels 

A-LEAF aims at developing an artificial photosynthesis device able to absorb sunlight and use it to transform water and CO2 into useful chemicals (CO2 reduction), fuels and oxygen (water oxidation). The final goal of this technology is to become a substitute of fossil fuels and reduce the pollution.
