FETFX presents: Journalist-in-the-Lab

To broaden the impacts generated by the EIC Pathfinder projects and enable new writers and video-makers to tell stories about the extraordinary discoveries from high-risk, visionary research, we present the Journalist-in-the-Lab initiative.

FETFX selected three young journalists who will visit two research institutions located in Barcelona (Spain) namely, the Institute of Material Science in Barcelona (ICMAB) and the Catalan Institute of Science Technology (ICN2). By working hand-in-hand with the local scientists, the journalists will access that world of science and technology which often remains behind closed doors. Under the mentorship of a professional science journalist, they will produce stories about the lives of researchers, the impact of their research and the story of innovation in Europe through the EIC Pathfinder (or formely known as the FET) programme. The residency will take place on the 25th and 26th of February 2020.
